I can’t send out messages on Facebook, what happened?

Why has my Facebook account been locked?

When you send out messages to people, Facebook's algorithm may view you as a bot or scammer. In this case, they will ban you usually for 24 hours but sometimes even longer. During this time you will be unable to send out messages. This however only happens based on the frequency and amount of messages sent. If they think you are a bot, they'll lock your account and if this continues they will most likely disable your account.
